Keep politics out of our pennridge schools

Pennridge community members remember the chaos that Pennridge experienced two short years ago. Academic rankings collapsing, staff fleeing, and taxpayer money wasted on political consultants, cover ups, and legal fees.

Pennridge is still recovering from the chaos of that period.

A significant part of the chaos was caused by the hiring of Vermilion Education.

A last minute contract. A political consultant from Hillsdale College. Unlimited expenses to taxpayers. Forcing political curriculum into our students classrooms. The same consultant bragging that “The Fox is in the Henhouse” [1]

Now, in 2025, we are seeing the same playbook.

Our opponents have brought outsiders into our district once again. This time, its in the form of Ryan Girdusky, a NY based political operative. Girdusky uses a massive war chest funded by donors across the country, including extremist billionaires [2]. Our opponents requested and received [3] financial support from Girdusky, in order to take control of Pennridge School Board and our childrens education.

Girdusky is known for saying “F*** you, we’re taking over school boards” [3][4], and our opponent Jonathan Russell stated:

"This is a group whose mission aligns with what Pennridge parents have been saying for years[5]”

Girdusky has used millions of dollars to meddle in local races across the United States, using outsider funds to take over and secure control of school districts. This playbook is similar to Vermilion, where Pennridge lost their ability to run their own district. [6]

Our opponents invited Girdusky into Pennridge. [3]

We need to show him the same treatment we showed Jordan Adams from Vermilion in 2023. Make a plan to vote, and choose students over politics.
